Ewa Jedrzejczyk
Ewa was first introduced to meditation practices and eastern philosophy, particularly Buddhism, when she was 16. She stepped into her first yoga class in London, 2002, inspiring her to create more time for practice, and thereafter, started a dedicated daily Ashtanga yoga practice in 2004. In 2006 - 2008 she traveled extensively through India/Nepal/China where she spent the first year immersed in various forms of Buddhist & meditation practices and the second year in yogic studies, philosophy, chanting, and Ayurveda; learning of their great capacity to transform and heal.
Ewa received a Level 2 Ashtanga Teacher Authorization at the KPJAY Mysore Institute in India, in 2011 through the guidance of her teacher Sharath Rangaswany. Rolf Naujokat and his wife Marci were also highly important and longtime teachers during her visits to India, guiding her to deepen the practice, work with alignment and develop a practice of Pranayama.
Ewa has taught in many different countries including London, Sydney, Portugal, Zambia and Poland. Her teaching is based on the Ashtanga (Vinyasa) Yoga principles, and with this, she strives in helping students cultivate a well adapted, accessible and kind approach towards their practice that reaches beyond any concept of perfection in shape or form, and beyond the mat. Remembering what is truly important to ones journey and what a modern Asana (Tapas) practice can do for us, and when incorporated with meditation, breathing exercises and theory, can create a truly healing foundation. Ewa has also completed a TT in Yin and Restorative yoga styles.
Namaste & Blessings :)
